Purpose
The Board of Trustees guard the temporal assets of the church. They are
responsible for the upkeep and acquisition of all land, buildings,
parsonages and other materials of the church. The trustees are elected by
the congregation once a year and are entrusted by the annual conference
with making sure that God's people have a safe and proper place to
worship.
Ushers
The Trustee Board is also in charge of the Usher Board at
Bethel. The ushers serve the solemn duty of guarding the sanctuary doors
during worship services. The ushers are confirmed and trained by the
Trustee Board.
Church Sextant
The Sextant of the church is hired by the Trustee Board to make sure that
the sanctuary is kept clean and in order. They also report any physical
problems noticed in the church to the Trustees. |
