PRAISE MINISTRY

            The Rev. Sabrina Ann Walker has been a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church since she was a little girl.  She said, “The Lord called me into the ministry 7 years ago.”  She serves on the Ministerial staff as an Itinerant Deacon.  She serves as an advisor to the Junior Usher Board and the Unit Leader of the Lillian Singleton Missionary Unit which consist of the young women in the church.

             Rev. Walker’s ministry is Praise.  The purpose of this ministry is to magnify God’s name in worship by expressing our joy, love, and thanksgiving to him because of His gracious redemption. This act of praise prepares the waiting congregation to enter into His presence. Praise and worship shows our love to God for who He is, what He’s done for us, and what He’s going to do for us.  We can praise God with song, instruments, testimony, and prayer.  We must learn to praise Him for being God all by Himself.  We should always give Him praise in good times and bad, for the word says, “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.”
